Years ago, I went to America several times. During my times I found the one flavour from Ben and Jerry’s that I will love forever. Unfortunately, when I stopped visiting America, we didn’t have Ben and Jerry’s here in Australia…Now we do! Even though we started to get in Ben and Jerry’s into Australia, we still didn’t have my favourite flavour … Until now!
We’re just in the middle of Winter though now. I figure, I have waited literally months for this. I can wait a few more months.
But now, for something more serious…
Hey America! What’s going on?
I think like a lot of us, we didn’t expect miracles overnight. However, I am sure, like a lot of Americans. We’re all here wondering how the Republicans didn’t listen to the people, when they voted Trump out?
I’m still in shock that McConnell is there. I thought to myself, if Trump doesn’t go, as long as McConnell goes. Then that’s what really matters. There would only be so much Trump could with a Democrat, or even Republican that doesn’t kiss his butt.
There’s something terribly wrong going on with America. You’ve got Nuns saying that Trump is the most pro-life President, that America has ever had. You have police shooting unarmed citizens in the back. You have white supremacist’s murderers being called heroes for murdering fellow Americans, for them daring to say that Black Lives Matters.
There’s something terribly wrong going on with America. Where children can cross borders with an AR15, just to murder human beings. While the police give them water bottles and cheering them, for children fighting for them.
There’s something terribly wrong going on with America. Where a man is told that “son of a bitch should be locked up” While calling white supremacists “fine people.
Diversity is an American value. It’s what makes any country awesome.

I get asked this question…a lot! Especially since people have noticed that I am actually Australian, but seem to be heavily involved with American politics. I love it when people ask me “Why?”
People in America, mainly uneducated ones, don’t seem to realise that Trumps actions, his rulings, his tariffs affect people ALL AROUND THE WORLD…NOT just America. As a Globe we are far too connected to be “them vs us”. It’s just not possible anymore.
Take the Tariffs as an example: If it does happen, Trump will end up adding BILLIONS onto Australia’s debts. Australia also has a good exchange program with the Chinese, with children’s parents sending their children to each other countries. This would be too expensive to continue. Steel to build homes have gone up by at least 7k. Yes, Australians should be angry about that.
Too deny that our Politicians haven’t been influence by Trump is ridiculous. We have the lame politician called “Pauline Hanson” if you’ve never heard of her, it’s because she is a ridiculous politician. She’s the “leader” of the One Nation party and you’ll find that a lot of people who support Trump, support her. She is the politician that very recently put forward a motion saying that she wanted the House to say that “It’s okay to be white”. She toasted Trumps “victory” on live tv and then the report on her party was that they were dangerous. Yet, she still idolises him.
It’s an ideal time to get together with others for a teddy bear’s favourite activity, having a picnic, as immortalised in the classic song, ‘Teddy Bear’s Picnic.’ This was written in 1907, shortly after teddy bears were first manufactured in Europe and America. The American toy bears were named Teddy, in honour of President Theodore Roosevelt, who had refused to shoot a small captured bear on a hunting trip. Many teddy bears have become famous over the years, including Paddington Bear, Rupert Bear, Pudsey Bear and, of course, Winnie the Pooh.
If you know me, I am the teddy bear Queen! Even though I am pretty sure that it’s an American holiday.
It’s not a gun problem, a mental health problem…
I honestly think the problem with American and it’s gun, is that it’s a completely self-entitlement problem.
You have a country that it’s entire background is based on purely a self-freedom.
Whenever I’ve ever gotten into a “discussion” (it’s hard to have a grown up discussion with people who are “gun nutty”) everything that they say is about themselves, it’s never about the people who got shot. “Their” rights,”their” freedoms”, you trying to take away “their” toys…ME, ME, ME…
You look at people like the Kardashians for example. They are a fantastic example of self entitlement. They have literally become “famous” and rich off of selfies and themselves…Is it really impressive though? That the Kardashians can play a country that are completely self obsessed with self anyways?
Or when people say “All Lives Matter”…well duh, but right now we are focusing on the Black Lives Matter because at the moment we are focusing on why are they getting unjustly shot in the streets…Can they just focus on that for like two seconds? I’m sure if they actually focused on BLM for more than a second rather than getting all knee jerky, they’d actually SEE the problem.
Now saying all this, clearly not ALL Americans are like this…In fact, I’d say the majority of Americans ARE about others, and not about ego. However, the problem is the people in power are all about “ME, ME, ME”
So this is what “Amendment” means:
“a minor change or addition designed to improve a text, piece of legislation, etc.”
In others words…The word Amendment means it CAN be changed. Any of them. I was thinking about it…I am sure that the American forefather made it those words, so things can be changed. Although I was “told off” and told that the Government can’t touch the Bill of Rights…So why call them Amendments if they can’t be changed? Or if the people really want something changed, it can’t be? Or is it an American thing where everybody else has the same meaning for the word “amendment” and American just HAS to be different with it?
Now in Australia we don’t really celebrate Halloween, it’s still very much an American thing. However, it does seem to be on the rise “down under” Halloween has brought up some very important issues these last few years. From issues relating too appropriate costumes, to the decorations to “pranks”.
