I just felt really odd, posting a song the day after I posted 5 for one challenge, and then it didn’t feel right on ANZAC Day.
Day 24 – A song by a band that you wished were still together
I was oohhhing and arrring about this one. However, whenever there songs come on the radio, I know the words and all the dance moves. So…fight me! Also three of them are coming out here later in the year. I am SO getting tickets, even if my favourite isn’t coming, lol
Day 25 – A song you like by a artist no longer living
Isn’t the world a sadder place for having lost him. Also kind of ironic since it gets dark here now at 6pm. Yes, the Beatles sing it, but it’s George’s song!
George Harrison – Here comes the Sun
Day 26 – A song that makes you want to fall in love
So I am already in love, however! I want into my YouTube playlist of what I named “Someone or Something” It reminds me of someone … or … something … haha. What it also has though is a lot of lovey dovey songs, that I love listening to whenever I’m falling in love =D Also though I know what movie this belongs too…But try not to judge, I love the song, not the movie, lol
Love Me Like You Do – Song by Ellie Goulding, Video from the movie “50 Shades of Grey”.
A lot of the love songs I really love, are from movies I really dislike, haha.
Day 23 – A song you think everybody should listen too.
In all honesty, I couldn’t think of just one. There are lot of good songs out there, all for different reasons. So I decided to list my top 5 of songs I feel that people should listen too. It’s my blog, I do what I like, haha
Song 1: Savage Garden – Affirmation
Song 2: Lindsey Stirling + Alexander Jean – Stampede
Song 3: Within Temptation – Mother Earth
Song 4: Band: The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus – Your Guardian Angel, Video – Blue Sapphire Girl
Song 5: Selena Gomez (I want her to be my daughter) – Kill em with kindness
Day 17: A song you’d sing a duet with someone at karaoke
Oh I had a really hard time with this one. Because I’d want it to be something like Bon Jovi, so not a typical duet song.
Bon Jovi – Living on a Prayer
Day 18: A song from the year you were born – 1984
Queen – Radio Ga Ga
Day 19: A song that makes you think about life
This is also another hard one. There are SO many songs out there! All for different reasons, moods and situations.
The song I am going to chose though, is a song about starting with your self. After all everything about life, starts with YOUR life! What I think about life, it comes to down to me. This is one of the songs that I still will listen too of his. Life starts with YOU! The man knew about songs that can move you!
Michael Jackson – Man In The Mirror
If you want to make the world a better place Take a look at yourself and then make the change You gotta get it right, while you got the time You can’t close your, your mind!
Day 14 … A song you’d love to be played at your wedding
I have always wanted this to be the song we’d have our first dance too. While, pictures of people who passed, who are important to us are on the wall or something. I think Terry would appreciate having something that everyone would concentrate on, rather than him, lol
Faith Hill – There You’ll Be
Day 15 … A song you like that’s covered by another artist
Jonathan Young – My Lullaby (Disney’s The Lion King 2)
The reason I’ve got these two on their own, I think I’ve mentioned more than once which song/s make happy and sad. So I wanted to go with something different this time.
Day 9 … A song that makes you happy
Let me know if this is honestly weird, how happy this songs makes me, haha. It kind of makes me feel evil happy …
Jonathan Young Cover – From the movie FernGully – Jonathan Young
Day 10 … A song that makes you sad
As I mentioned above, I’ve written a few times about how no matter what mood I am in Phantom of the Opera’s “Wishing you were somehow here again” makes me cry. I’m going to go with another song…At least from another musical! Haha
Ruthie Henshall (Les Miserables 10th Anniversary Concert – Royal Albert Hall) – I dreamed a dream
It’s April 1st and I am hoping passed midday for a lot of you, but April 1st means it’s the first day of my birthday month!
I’m still allowed to do this, right? Like I don’t have kids yet. So I get to have a whole month, right? Even if it’s me, haha.
This week, what I’m starting to do is a music challenge for the month of April =D It’s supposed to be a daily challenge, but my weekend is quiet full this week. So apart from today, this rest will be posted on the Sunday.
Day 1: A song you like with a colour in the title.
Brown Eyed Girl – Van Morrison … Let’s get this long weekend started!
