Dymocks is a bookstore in Adelaide, Australia. A fantastic bookstore and I am not actually sure that it’s an interstate store. I have bought so many books from there. They are usually the store that I read the book from the Library, and then buy it from them.

If you don’t like Rats, stop…
Anyone who keeps rats as pets or companions is already in on the secret: these animals are friendly, loyal, intelligent, and very endearing. Unfortunately they’ve had a bit of bad press over the years, what with the Black Death, Bubonic Plague and a thousand Pacific islands which have had their native wildlife chewed down to ground level and beyond. What’s a few environmental and social catastrophes between friends?
Pet Rats though are the cutest little things and make for some great first time pets! I have had 3 pet rats over my life time. My mum used to breed them!
Since I don’t have children, I totally get a whole birthday month…Right?
What a bad time of year to have a birthday right now.
I honestly don’t know what to do with myself at this time of the year, at the moment. My birthday isn’t until the end of the month. Usually I have all these plans, including blogging plans. There’s just been so much going on! I don’t know if I’ll even be able to celebrate my birthday with just small family. Everyone wants us to have a house warming, which probably wont happen until…sometime, lol.
Tonight, Earth Hour will take place from 8:30pm to 9:30pm. As we turn off our lights and light a candle or two instead, to bunker down with a good book. Also take a look at your local book store and library for a selection of books that may help inspire you to help change the planet!
Today is Tolkien Reading Day! The 25th of March is the date of the downfall of the Lord of the Rings (Sauron) and the fall of Barad-dûr.
And they’ve just announced they’re closing public libraries in Australia too =(
My partner and I are moving into a home this week. I say home, because currently it’s been all rented. So we’re moving into our own home. Which is pretty exciting. Despite everything else. However, I am actually sad to leave our neighbours. They have been really good neighbours. Now we’re not besties or anything, but they have been good neighbours.
Before I even came alone my partner and his ex got into such a fight, they called the police. Which sounds, actually horrible, but how many times have we heard of neighbours doing nothing?
Anyways, what I would like to do is too give them something for being such good neighbours. We have little chats as we’re coming in and out and we talk to each other about things that are happening the neighbourhood. With everything though, I also don’t want to give them something contaminated.
I don’t know if I should make something, or buy something? Like a hamper, or make a hamper full of things?
Harmony day is on the 21st March in Australia. We celebrate Harmony Day to promote diversity and acceptance of other cultures. … Harmony Day aims to start a conversation about heritage, culture and community. The event coincides with the United Nations’ International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
Traditionally, orange signifies social communication and meaningful conversations. It also relates to the freedom of ideas and encouragement of mutual respect. Australians can choose to wear something orange during Harmony Week to show their support for cultural diversity and an inclusive Australia.
Now I am not particularly religious or anything (I’m an Agnostic). However, the Blessing remains true ❤
Well in Sydney anyway and I do not live in Sydney…However, my brother is going to be on a float! I am so excited, not only is he going to be on a float in his Drag persona “Pashion Couture”, he also made a LOT of the outfits tonight! Its on on SBS Australia in about an hour from now. I’m not sure if you can stream from over seas >.<
This is what Hate in general does too you. Hate rots your damn mind lol. You look at “people” like Trump supporters the whole Trump Crime Family, Folau, Transphobia Their comments always make sane people go “Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa”? lol
Literally everything on that list above, women CAN have. Women CAN have flat chests people!lol. There are some men that have bigger boobs than some women! Athletic women, tend to have flat chests. Women CAN be hairy. Some women do not have curves. We are not all made the same. With a lot of trans people, you can’t tell these things anyway. There are some fantastic drugs and procedures, products out there. There is also clothing out there that can shape you, to make you look like you have curves. Think Kardashian products, corsets. When my brother first started in Drag, he used to take my Mums and mine best bras and stuff them, and sow them in. (When he first started people kept asking me, did I find it weird. I would tell them no, I didn’t…I just never did…But it annoyed me that he took my clothes! You know those Facebook memories? Well, every now and then he’ll post one wearing a top I’d thought I had lost!) There is also clothing that do this as well, for flat chested women, push-up bras.
Basically, this is a really DUMB list. That would actually exclude a LOT of lesbians. Like Ellen! She is very masculine.
