When did this start happening?

I am all for Women’s Rights, but I’ve noticed something over the last couple of years.

What is it with grown women lately, causing harm and spreading misinformation, just to turn around and play “victim”?

I know I go on a lot about Rowling a lot, but she isn’t the only women doing those sorts of things.

We have a female journalist here in Australia, who is clearly biased towards one particular political party, at the tax payers expense. Most of the time she’s called out on it, she just blocks those people. Then turns around on our taxpayer national news front to say how much she’s being “bullied” on Twitter. She calls it misogny (which it isn’t) but she also fails to mention that the male journalists are being called out on it too.

This is becoming a re-occurring theme with women. Women who are being really horrible, and obviously bias. Want to them turn around and play “victim”.

There’s always been women like this, but it seems to be really bad in the last year or so.

International Day of Peace (United Nations)

Well where I do begin? Haha.

The world does not feel very peaceful at the moment, does it?

While we cannot control others, we can help others still and we can help give ourselves the power to give ourselves peace.

Be at peace, knowing though, that YOU do have the power to change your attitude and how you treat others.

One week!

Okay, next week…My website is going up. I am doing it! No more putting it off! Yes, money is a big part of it, haha =D

This week I completed a advanced spreadsheet class, as part of study that I’m doing. It was a big part of way I was putting it off. I realised how handy spreadsheets can be, especially when you’re doing something on your own. Like, there is SO much you can do! This next is going to be setting up a spreadsheet to help myself.

I also still haven’t been able to figure out how to cancel payments, or give refunds. Which is pretty important, lol.

R U Okay and Teddy Bear Day

September the 9th is not only RUOK Day in Australia, but it’s also Teddy Bear Day. So on September the 9th, hug your teddy today if you’re not okay.

If you do need a “day” to ask people if they’re okay … I don’t know how to end that without saying the word “prat” lol.

RUOkay day, is a day to bring out suicide awareness.

R U Ok?

Now if you need to borrow a teddy bear, you can borrow one of mine…But note how I said *borrow* lol

R U OK?

Spring the season of renewal and rebirth.

I love Spring, it’s my favourite season. I don’t like really cold weather and I don’t really like it overly hot either, and Australian Summers can get hot!

It’s a good time to:

Spring Clean

Smell the flowers

Read outside, with a glass of wine

Try to plant some flowers.

Buy some mulch first.

Buy flowers that are friendly for bees =D

Enjoy a picnic…By myself or with others too…Maybe.

Have a drink, any drink, at an outdoor cafe.

Walk on a beach, during Sunset, with only a few people on that beach, lol.

I’m already on start trying to Save the Bees … This little bumblebee was being attacked alive by Ants! Ants…those bastards!

International Literacy Day -UN’s UNESCO

The laureates will be celebrated on International Literacy Day, on 8 September. September 8th was proclaimed as International Literacy Day (ILD) by UNESCO in 1966 to remind the international community of the importance of literacy for individuals, communities and societies, and the need for intensified efforts towards more literate societies.

What is Literacy?

Literacy is popularly understood as an ability to read and write in at least one method of writing, an understanding reflected by mainstream dictionaries. In this view, illiteracy would be considered to be the inability to read and write.

  • Books contain 50% more rare words than prime-time television.
  • The child who knows four nursery rhymes by age four will naturally be a better reader by age eight.
  • There are 5 types of literacy – Media, Cultural, Financial, Scientific and Information.
  • It is estimated between $106–$238 billion in health care costs a year are linked to low adult literacy skills.  (America).
  • The average American reads 12 books a year, according to Pew Research, but that number is deceiving. The median number of books read per year in the United States is four, meaning half the country reads less than 4 books per year.

Well Done too Scotland!

So yesterday, possibly the day before…Scotland passed a really great thing. Much to the disgusts of a lot of transphobes.

The results of Scotland’s second GRA Reform consultation have been published. A majority of organisations and groups that responded backed plans for gender self-declaration. And also Individuals support it by 55% as opposed to 40% against.

Sad thing, because of transphobic actions, David Paisley a defender of both women and the LGBT. Now he is in a position to have to leave Scotland, because of threats. Because he, like the majority of people are trans inclusive. So that for “crime” they literally doxxed him, and instead of going “Maybe we’re the baddies” They decided to make fun that they’ve run him out of a country, for his own safety.

It is interesting to note to myself though, that despite the TERFdom in Scotland, in the UK, Australia and the US. The countries that are currently being run by women, are all trans-inclusive. All are doing quiet well with COVID. So, right now, we are seeing the worst and the best of women. Which, for myself anyway, is interesting.

Well Done too Scotland though for passing the GRA for a second time (it past the first time too).
