I hate to say it

I am currently reading Philippa Gregory “The King’s Curse (The Plantagenet and Tudor Novels #7) Not that I am saying I hate the book, I actually really am loving it. However, what I am hating about it is how similar I can see between then and now.

A man in charge, getting to decide what is state vs religion, a man controlling women. Everyone in fear, around this one man. The only real difference is that these men at the top these days, aren’t able to really order people’s heads off at a whim…Well maybe in Russia. However, generally, these men are just as soulless as King Henry the 8th. The fact that a lot of male world leaders have been more shrugging their shoulders at the deaths of their OWN people. Is VERY King Henry the 8th, when you think about it.

We just recently had the Prime Minister of Australia, say something, VERY Trumpesque, he also really did something Trumpesque. He flew from our capital city, to QLD, on tax payer money…Too attend a Hillsong Prayer Session…Too stand there and say how Australia needs more Churches (we do not) and how social media is a “Demon” (which it is, but he’s on it too).
