…Not that I take it personally, my Chinese astrological sign is The Rat.
There are lot of people out there who confused rats with hamsters…I don’t know how
“True rats” are members of the genus Rattus, the most important of which to humans are the black rat, Rattus rattus, and the brown rat, Rattus norvegicus. Many members of other rodent genera and families are also referred to as rats, and share many characteristics with true rats.
Over the years some Rats have been taught to be “tamed”…Depending on how long back your pet Rat’s genetics go back can depend on how tamed they are. They are just as healthy as any cat or dog. Some Rats have been taught how to do “tricks” showing how intelligent they can be! They have a very short life span though.
