This is sort of a random question but…..

How do you feel about faces on book covers?

(Like them ~ Don’t like them ~ Don’t really care)

I honestly found this question to be an interesting one, because a lot of times having a face on a cover can actually put me off. Unless the person looks like me. One of the reasons I love to read to so much is because it allows my mind to wander, and for me to imagine what I want. If I see someone else’s face on that cover (and it may sound silly…kind of paranoid) I can’t help thinking the book is for them and about them. Instead of being able to imagine myself as a character. The book isn’t for me, the book is for that person, and that person alone, if that makes sense?

If you take the below picture for an example. The woman on the cover looks too much like a girl that was my first ever “cyber bully”. So it instantly puts me off, and I’m sure that it’s a perfectly fine book, but I just can’t make myself do it.
