  1. Happens to the best of us! I always loved Peter Rabbit, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, and the rest of her characters. Then when I was an adult, I found out her exquisite, realistic drawings of animals was all due to her youthful penchant for capturing them and dissecting them. I still like her characters and read them to my kids when they were small and I even have the books to this day. I even have two little antique baby cups in my tea cup collection (I know, I know, they’re not really tea cups LOL) with her characters on them. But I do look at her work a bit differently.
